What an event! Especially when it happened so unexpectedly. The idea to arrange the speed skating camp during the long Assumption Day weekend was designed (literally) on the way to Runda Widawa. Teamwork at its best: some drove the car, some gathered the participants, some found an apartments sitting by the computer in Vilnius. And here we go: Snails & Cheetahs in Šventoji on August 13-15!
Morning yoga with Aurelia every day. Oh yeah, the half marathon is definitely easier, but the preparation must be comprehensive. Then skating practices followed the breakfast. The run Šventoji – Palanga – Šventoji was quite difficult because of the crowd of people on Saturday, when the whistle was used every 100 meters. But on Sunday the team was awarded with great, spacious path between Pervalka and Nida, covered three times. It was an useful and really fun time on speed skates, despite of couple of sharp incidents. And, of course, no one missed the acting classes how to look good in pictures, during which the Team Signature Finish was created.
Romantic sunsets are one of most fascinating moments when you are by the sea. Nobody would like to miss it.
Designed as a sports event, but turned into a partly recreational, the camp was as good as it gets. All partakers promised be here next year too.
